I've been doing it by editing the css files inside the static folder. It takes a bit of work to document what each field links to but after a while you start to get a little faster at it. Better documentation on all of it would be ideal, but I can't seem to find any. For now I think it's guess and check. Clear your browser cache or use incognito between changes so you can be sure your view is updating.
