my site is located at <br />
http://www.mountaincityonline.com<br />

Links i have created to other web addresses work fine, but when i link to a directory in the root of my site === www.mountaincityonline.com/tristate they do not work

use the proper url ie www.mountaincityonline.com/index.php?p=tristate . Hope that works for ya just add /index.php?p= befor the module name

that worked when i clicked on the link, thanks, BUT if i typed in the address in my address bar i got redrected to back to my root director..

co to my/config and find this code

//$ubase = $uhome.'/index.php?p=';
$ubase = $uhome.'/';

and replace with this

$ubase = $uhome.'..

just make a redirection link from http://www.mountaincityonline.com-->www.mountaincityonline.com/tristate
u can setup from cpanel.
