I get an error during installation. "Warning: mysql_query(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource..." Please Help!

I got the login information, but get an error saying jcow is already installed. Of course it is, because I am upgrading it. Now my site is totally inaccessible. www.strengthscene.com

Don't run install.
Just following the steps in upgrade.txt

I already got stuck because of running install first. Does this mean I'll have to delete the database and start over to get it to work? I'm trying to upgrade from 4.2.0.

Please advise.
