you need to buy a standalone version of cometchat and the integration is a bit difficult because you need to check the database for user table and store user session, also user online.

Yes it works with Jcow and it is not so hard to incoorporate ;)

If you buy the cometchat, there is a guide to implement it with a standalone-version Jcow etc. The basic version is only 49 USD
