I can't see when a user has made a friend request anywhere, is it on the template?

I have an email - But that just has a link to the main site.

If I cant find or see if someone made a friend request, I think users will have even more problems finding it.

Just got your link from the source, its not showing on on the forum here for some reason.

Yeah that's what I mean, I will have to add someone as a friend to test it out ;)

Making it more visible would be good, for example just like when it shows the message for when your profile hasn't been finished for the avatar.

Oh yeah I get you yeah that would be sweet,,Hmmm thats funny I can see images here...

1. the pictures of switch48 are showing up. I can see them.

2. this site is using blue theme, and when there is a new notification/message/friends request is show up at the top right corner between () with a number in it. The difference with Facebook is, that in Jcow you need to refresh your page in order to see this alerts.

Is there a way to make this more clear?

I think most people wouldn't notice the number (Well on my design anyway).

I would like to show something on the dashboard or page.tpl that shows someone has requested to be a friend, is this possible?
