Has anyone attempted to actually form a video upload code to their site in contrast to the youtube only video uploads?

I would like to use an Apple Quicktime player in the site,allowing user to host videos on the site like music, but I am confused on how to do this.

I have tried before but everything did not work.

Any help or insight would be awesome.

I dont think there is a way. I tired to ask the same question before and I got no response.
