Version: 2.1.03 /uploads/avatars/s_undefined.jpg When someone signs up they can not upload a profile pic, they point to above address. Can this be fixed?

have you make the folder "/uploads/avatars" writable? If it is lunix, chage the folder mod to "777". Also make the change to the folder "/uploads/userfiles".
