I have a forum setup in my site as /forum and I would like to link to it, but using jcow/forum is still going to a jcow page - App not found.

I can access it using /forum/index.php but I want to be able to direct users to /forum

If you are using the jcow forums module then once you activate it it is built in to the site automatically, there would be no config. If you are putting the forums in and directing to another page, then you need to go into menu section under admin and and make a menu tab like this
