I am starting up a new site aimed towards people on the North West of Ireland.

The site is a social network, very similar to facebook as well as a forum and information on regional events, places of interest, nightlife, pretty much everything to do with the region for visitors as well as residents - The main aspect will be focused on residents and the social networking side.

It will cover the whole north west, including the republic (Donegal) and Northern Ireland, mainly Derry.

I was thinking of having nw in the name, I have thought of a few things but hoping I could get some more ideas here to help out

I think you don't need to include a word "Ireland" in the name/domain. But include a "North West", or NW.

I was thinking NorthWestSocial.com :)

Or NWSocial.com - NWSocial is quicker but at the same time, having NorthWest in the name could help with google search terms and is also easy to remember.
