Im looking to make a theme more suitable for wap users, is it the settings.php file i need to amend for it?

with the settings.php, you can customize your own block area. Leave it as default if you are not very sure how to use it.

yea i just want basics for mobile viewers rather than the whole lot, take parts off. Id use the default template but only want news feed and login/register for homepage, and a limited profile page with chatbox/updates.

Take no active modules and the Jcow script are good for mobil.
