This is very complecated situation u face here as falcone said the other files uploaded by users will be a problem bu it is easy to join ur 2 databases the old and new ... just use the backed uo old jcow*.sql file I do not know the name but the dumb file and but it in a directory along with the
BIGDUMP utility you can download from here

and read the instructions it will do the jop for u and reserve the new members as well
then find a way to restore the users missing files
