I just installed this and the install was okay. When I went to the index.php?p=admin to login I got this message

Sorry, you have no permission to do this.

Confused???
I have never gone into the site as a guest or an admin??

you have to login at the frontpage with the username (or email) and password you provided when you installed the script, the you can go to yoururl/index.php?=admin or yoururl/admin.

you will find the link also in your dashboard left below in the menu or on top (administration section) at the right

Thanks for the response I did all of the suggestions you mentioned, the same thing happened. Not sure why I need to login to the cpanel for Softaculous and then navigate to the admin section on jcow to login. I also had an e-mail of the install sent to me with all the info so I know everything is correct?

you don't have to go to your cpanel.

just go to the place where you installed your script, for example demo.jcow.net and login in with "admin" and your jcow password just like you log in with "dfudd" and your password here.

Thanks. Got it! No sure why it didn't accept the admin password I set instead of just keeping the default "admin".
