2 days ago I downloaded and installed the latest Jcow 3.3
I Have problem to view Photos I allready have UPLOADED.

After I finish UPLOAD pictures i can see thumbnail and I can see that this pictures are saved in:

http://www.oslomodels.com/uploads/userfiles/201009/*.jpg

The user permission is set to 755 to the folder and now i even changed it to 777 but unfortunality I cant still see this photos when I click on thumbnails. But the file is on server:

http://www.oslomodels.com/uploads/userfiles/201009/01_24_hymrp.jpg

What have I done wrong or how to solve that?
Thanks Vincent & Team Jcow

The one URL should be ok, This is what i get from my test site. http://www.hitme2.com/uploads/userfiles/201009/10_01_nkg75.jpg.

Actually i think when you upload, the system will create a couple more photos, thumbnails. These will have basically the same URL but a different name for the photo. Here the difference you can see. http://www.hitme2.com/uploads/userfiles/201009/10_01_w9t9f.jpg. Is your system creating the additional photos? Have you check the folder on your server? I have all folder permissions set to 755 and woks fine.

Hmmm...

Yes.. My system creats 2 files for each photo. The photos I upload are big photos about 1.5mb for each photo. But the system automaticlay convert them to height 740pixels and the size is then about 200-300kb for each photo and 20-30kb for thumbs. I have tried to download the photos back from server by using ftp and they works fine. The server know their reight location since I can delete this thumbs and then then thumb and photos both files will be deleted. But only when I click on thumbs to view it shows the error.

On the other hand i uploaded some mp3's to test and they just works fine.. I can add, play and delete this files.. Mp3's is also saved in same folder as photos.
So i dont think the folder permission is a issue.

I cant even find the folder: /photos/view/
It dosent excist.. Why are the script looking for that folder when we know the pictures are in /uploads/userfiles/. ??

Hope to solve this issue.

Thanks for helping

check your module/ folder. Make sure "photos" module is installed/enabled.
Your path seems to be nothing wrong but looks like this one module is deleted/unable.

There is no problem with the file uploading on your server.
Please open your "modules/photos/photos.php" with a text editor,
find this line(line 89):
$story .= '<li><a title="'.htmlspecialchars($photo['des']).'" href="'.uhome().'/photos/view/'.$photo['id'].'" ><img src="'.uhome().'/'.$photo['thumb'].'" /></a></li>';
And change it to:
$story .= '<li><a title="'.htmlspecialchars($photo['des']).'" href="'.url('photos/view/'.$photo['id']).'" ><img src="'.uhome().'/'.$photo['thumb'].'" /></a></li>';
One more question:

Is it possible to upload photos in there real size? So Jcow dont make them smaller? I have some big HD-quality pictures.. but Jcow always convert them... Is it possible to avoid converting?

Thanks VINCENT.... everything with Jcow is working perfectly :)
