I installed the script, followed instructions. After install it said all was successful. My index page is blank.

haha...abut one week ago, i got this problem too...
this is my experience.
you have to back to your version before update. Update file by file using FTP, until you know the problem exactly.

i was use 3.0.2, and update to 3.1 and than to 3.2. i got some error when from 3.1 to 3.2. I just choose the file what i want :)
