Hi there! I've been having problem's with the chat module despite re-downloading and re-installing the latest "fixed module" several times. I've refreshed my browser, deleted the cache, cookies, etc. but the sender's message still does not appear.

The sender's Username appears fine but not the message -which is the whole point of the chatting feature. I have read many posts saying that the issue has been fixed but it has not. Can anyone help this lady in distress? I need a hero now. lol ;)

Please re-download chatbar module and replace the "chat.js", and refresh your browser.

It's needed to update chat feature..

Its still not working :( tried everything and read each and every topic on chatbar but still no luck :( is it because i am using a free webhosting account??

Maby you have problems if you use sub domain server.. Wath server are you use??

I use byethost free account and my website is on an addon domain. But i cant see how would server affect this chatbar as all the other scrips which i have tried till date work just fine for me there.

may be your hosting have protection for execute sql query... Or not free quota file of your free hosting.. At this problem Usually user chat be called 'Undefinied'..

I changed my web hosting service provider and bang! All problems gone like chatbar,youtube video sharing, etc
