I can't get any pictures, avatars or any uploads at all, to work in v.3.1.0.

Is there any folder permissions that need to be changed?

make your "/uploads/" folder writable.

'Uploads' and the subfolders do have 777 permission...but there is a folder within 'uploads/avatars/' that's called '201008', and that folder has 755. And it can't be changed at all...

Same thing for the folder 'userfiles' in 'uploads'. There is no way to make any changes to the folder permissions.

Everything else works just fine.

I've solved the problem.

1. Just renamed the folders that hade the problems.

2. Then created new foldes to replace the renamed folders, with new write permissions.

3. Just to keep everything tidy, I deleted the renamed folders...and there you go...
