Hi,

Have made changes in your php.ini?
I had the same problem. The solution, changes in php.ini:

allow_url_fopen = Off -> allow_url_fopen= On

another question, which google can't respond me to...

why when I delete photoalbums, pictures actually stay on server? how could I configure JCow to physicaly delete files from server, not just "photoalbum from database" ?

You are welcome to ask any Jcow related questions. But questions like "where is php.ini" are not Jcow related.

This is a bug, and has been fixed in v 3.1.0. Thanks for reporting.
