I think it is very important to know that there is no news feed in 5.0 so after you upgrade you will not display all the comments the users have been writing. This is a very important feature for my web site so I can't upgrade to 5.0.

i think if they put it under the widgets , it will become good .!

Looks like they've rename it to Activity Feed in the apps. I think the news feed is for rss news feeds that you and your members can grab and post for all to see...
