The forum is helpful but when I change any code or option, How can I upgrade to pro or new version without loosing every change made in the code or starting from scratch?

can i just request the sam version i have? I recently bought Jcow but I really liked 4.2.1 cause i had things modified a certain way. Can I just download the pro version of 4.2.1 instead of 4.3? just preference?
