It would be nice for businesses, clubs, groups etc.. to have 2 optional "write in fields" for city and state (or region, county, departements (fr)etc...) so people can see where they are. it would help bring businesses to the site. Or is there a way already?

You can do this with profile questions, under admin panel

It will not work for my purpose since I don't think the answers end up in the database and if they do you can't use to see/search where the people are from in a country or region.am I right ?
