Using javascript in module

I am working on a module based on ajax and jquery and need a javascript in the <head> tag. I tested it by adding the javascript in the page-template, but I am wondering if there is a smarter and better way to include the script in jcow...?

BTW... Jcow is just great :)

I wish someone would reply as well as I having trouble doing the same thing. I'm trying to incorporate jquery in one of my modules and can't seem to do it.
