Hi im trying to add a banner to the right of my site, like the jcow one you can see to the right on this page.

However whenever i place the code in the page.tpl it is not aligning with the top of the page but appearing at the bottom.

Where in the code would I put my source code to make it align with the top?

What im trying to do is put a banner for sold advertisment space.

IE - "Your advert here" - that way i can raise the funds to purchase the full jcow package.

I need it to appear on all pages. Manage blocks only seems to appear in the admin or user panel.

For example i need it on the following

http://dealtowntoolbar.com/dealsocial/

http://dealtowntoolbar.com/dealsocial/index.php?p=feed

http://dealtowntoolbar.com/dealsocial/index.php?p=photos

And so on

In fact in an ideal world, id like to have a rotating banner that can show multiple adverts from sponsors that will rotate when people view different pages or automatically rotate.

Maybe you are using the default or facebook theme.
Just download the blue theme and there is always a right-side bar.

OK managed to do it. However now the "app menu" appears behind the banner. Using a google adwords banner at present for demo purposes.

Everyone always gives the easy answer
Go to Admin CP >> Themes >> Manage Blocks. Problem is not everyone is able to do this because it causing a lot of problems with a lot of hosting companies. By adding google code using the Manage block, my hosts server blocks my IP address for security reasons. That's why adding the code directly to the pages is so important.

Not that hard to add code, you just need a code editor like notepad and have to play with it.

So any ideas how i can get the drop down menu to appear over the code?

Even when i take the google code off, i plan either to use project wonderful to raise sponsors for the site or hard code a rotating banner in .

Either way i forsee that there will be problems with the drop down menu.
