Problem - Chatbar |
| |||
Install your chat module on my network and I had a problem with my server overload and suspended me that module. This is what I sent: I apologize, but I was forced to suspend some of the scripts below as they were causing a high load on the server, and due to it affecting all of the other accounts on the system, I forced to take immediate action for the health of the server. Disabled Scripts: /modules/chatbar/chat.php It appears that this script is an ajax system and generally scripts of this nature make a lot of requests constantly. I would recommend that you take steps to reduce the number of calls that this makes, such as increasing the time before refreshes, or making it so that the script only preforms an update after specific user actions. However, the original authors of the script might have more information on how to optimize this in such a fashion that it will not cause a load issue again. If you reply back to this with your IP address (http://www.hostgator.com/ip.shtml) we will be more than happy to go ahead enable HTTP access for you, so that you can safely work on the script without it causing further issues. Please let us know how you would like to proceed. How I can solve this problem? Thank you for your kindness in answering me Greetings

maybe you have a small quota hosting or exceed the allowable limit. for example, i ever use bluehost (unlimited space n bandwitch), but have file quota until 50.000 files. Now i hosting by pvs n problem solved. I have 4000 members and not problem. Sometimes chat only slow down if many members use chat... http://bulkum.com
chatbar con just 8 members shoul not be a problem . hola enrique ? me imagino que hablas español. Gracias Eliz Saludos
