Basically after running install.php it said it was successful and then there was a link to go to my website, but it is blank.

ok, an url problem it is not (/index.php?p= also not working)

db problem also not, because no message

you can check my\config.php to see if $home has the correct url, because i'm running out of ideas.

Just checked, it is ok. is it possible that index.php was corrupt or something is there previous verions of jcow to download to try?

I think you're working with a sub ... try the subdomain and the subdomain url directly without seeing it
