please inform me how to upgrade to newer version without reinstalling and losing my community????

from 2.x to newest: just replace the folder "/includes"

what about from 1.3.3???

I've done it the bad dump way...
but it works fine and garde...
first:

1. backup the database
2. delete it completely.... mean all tables
   second:
3. backup /my/config.php
4. upload all files over the old one
5. install new version
   third:
6. delete all tables exept _chatrooms
7. restore the database the old one.
8. restore the config.php

Finished

my jcow community is up and running with the old
settings and the new features
is there any way simpler...!
