I think getting a forum started can be a difficult task, but I think getting a social network can be a lot more work.

What have been your ideas to get your own network started?

I think once a site gets members posting commentes and making referrals a social network can grow very quickly, but its a tough task to get it going at first.

Would love to hear of what methods users have used or ideas you had to get the ball rolling :)

Offer free beer mate its always worked for me :)

Haha yeah it would work too well in Ireland, dont think the server could handle it ;)
